Yahoo has appointed specialist media and advertising representation business, Media Tonic, as its agency of record in South Australia.

Media Tonic has exclusive access in South Australia to Yahoo’s (formerly Verizon Media) full range of advertiser solutions and premium media brands.

Sonya Llewellyn, digital sales manager, is leading Yahoo’s South Australian sales representation for MediaTonic. “I’m delighted to be joining Yahoo’s award winning sales team. After several decades working in the local media scene, I’m keen to get stuck in and work alongside the team to paint this town purple.”

Yahoo’s appointment of Media Tonic follows the successful two year partnership between businesses in Western Australia. In Perth, Yahoo is the #1 proactive digital network and holds the #1 digital NPS score according to the latest May 2021 Media I Survey.

Rachel Page, General Manager Sales ANZ at Yahoo: “Media Tonic has been a great partner for our business over the past two years. We’ve grown from strength to strength in Western Australia to achieve market-leading results and we’ll be building on this momentum in South Australia.

“Sonya brings a wealth of local expertise to this role and that, backed by Media Tonic’s extensive knowledge of our business, is going to bring fresh opportunities for our partners in Adelaide.”

David Fare, Managing Director at Media Tonic: “This expansion of our partnership with Yahoo into South Australia is an exciting opportunity for both parties. We’ve achieved incredible feats over the past two years in Perth and we’re looking forward to building on that momentum in Adelaide.”

Yahoo’s product suite comprises Yahoo Preferred Network, identity solutions including Yahoo ConnectID and Next Gen Solutions, the Yahoo DSP, and Yahoo Creative Studios. Additionally, the business’ range of media brands include Yahoo News, Yahoo Lifestyle, Yahoo Finance and Yahoo Sport.
