Independent full-service agency Media Merchants has promoted Thomas Quayle to head of operations Sydney.
Quayle, having led the Media Merchants Digital department for the past seven years, will now oversee the day-to-day operations of the Sydney office, providing leadership and support to a team of 30 across digital, performance, studio, content, and account service departments.
Michael Gee, general manager of Media Merchants said: "Thomas has been an instrumental part of our team, and we're thrilled to see him take on this new challenge.
"His experience, level of respect with our clients and staff, alongside his expertise will be invaluable as we continue to grow and evolve as an agency."
Shanna Gericke has also been appointed as the new head of digital. With more than two decades of experience providing digital solutions in design and development, Gericke brings a track record of delivering exceptional results for clients across a range of industries. She will lead a team of 10 digital producers and developers on digital builds across Magento 2, WordPress, Shopify and other e-comm platforms.
Gericke said: "I'm excited to join Media Merchants at this pivotal time and to work with such a talented and dedicated team.
"I look forward to leveraging my experience to drive even greater results for our clients and to continue pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the world of digital."
The appointments follow a successful period of growth for the agency who won a number of e-commerce and digital projects for clients including Whitfords, Designer Appliances, Elite Appliances, Good Price Pharmacy and NARTA, as well as being appointed to run digital performance for endota spa and Battery World.
