McDonald's shortlist down to six

By AdNews | 3 March 2015

McDonald's has narrowed the shortlist for its digital and social business to six agencies, AdNews understands.

It is thought the incumbents, OMD, DDB Group Sydney and Leo Burnett are still vying for the business and they are joined on the shortlist by R/GA, VML and The Monkeys.

The decision is said to be imminent and could see additional agencies pick up project work from the fast-food giant.

The pitch was confirmed last week, with a spokesperson telling AdNews: “We can confirm we are currently in the process of reviewing our digital agency roster. Once complete we will make an announcement.”

All agencies contacted declined to comment. McDonald's did not respond by deadline.
