McDonald's has released a new ad, titled Cravings, ahead of Mother's Day.

The ad, created by DDB Sydney, tells the story of a daughter who goes out of her way to make her pregnancy reveal to her mother truly special with Macca’s.

She tells her mother that by doing something she herself loved and experienced when she pregnant - eating an ice cream with a pickle.

This is the latest ad in McDonald's ongoing brand campaign, We'll Be Here, which celebrates the role it plays in Australians' lives.

Earlier in the year, the fast food chain launched a 60-second TVC, Denise, as part of of the brand campaign which told the story of a loveable but mischievous little girl who is busy putting everything right, so there’s no reason to miss family time at Macca’s.

We'll Be Here launched last year with two TV spots Landmark, which launched in October, and Almost Home, in December 2019.
