AI-native production company MC&V has added Canva and Canteen as clients and signed three AI directors to its creative roster.
The appointments of Jodie Heenan, Josef Scholler and Jagger Waters expand across design, motion, VFX and hybrid production disciplines.
Heenan brings a design, motion and VFX background and commercial production experience across brands including Cadbury and Twinings, and is winner of best comedy and audience choice at the AI International Film Festival in Hollywood.
Scholler is known for cinematic hybrid productions and AI-driven world-building, and is a recent winner of the Los Angeles AI Motion Pictures Awards.
Waters is a multidisciplinary creator and producer with more than a decade across film, audio, live events and digital storytelling, with work recognised by SXSW, the Sundance Institute, Cannes and the Producers Guild of America.
MC&V co-founder Vinne Schifferstein Vidal said access to AI tools was no longer the differentiator — knowing how to use them within commercial production environments was.
"Right now, almost everyone has access to the same AI tools, but what's becoming more valuable is knowing how to turn those tools into work that holds up creatively and commercially. Direction, craft and experience with brand production still matter enormously," he said.
Co-founder Marie-Céline Merret Wirström said clients were asking different questions about AI than they were previously.
"Not just what AI can do, but how it fits into their process, their approvals and how it scales. That's where production thinking becomes critical," she said.
MC&V was founded earlier this year and has more than two years of experience delivering AI campaigns for brands including Adidas, Uniqlo, KFC and Afterpay.
