MAXMEDIALAB has expanded its digital team with the appointment of Michael Dargan as senior digital media manager.

The luxury-focused agency said Dargan’s experience in performance marketing would support its efforts to deliver “high-impact” work across emerging platforms, helping luxury clients navigate the shift to digital-first strategies.

The appointment comes as investment in online media continues to dominate marketing budgets in Australia.

“Digital is no longer just a component of the media mix, it is the driving force behind brand growth, audience engagement, and measurable ROI,” said director of data analytics, Anna Tuinenga.

“By expanding our team and welcoming exceptional talent like Michael, we’re positioning our clients to lead in an increasingly competitive space; harnessing the full potential of emerging platforms, technologies, and data driven insights.”

The agency works with a number of global luxury brands, including Hermès, La Prairie, Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani and said the hire strengthens its ability to “set the standard in digital innovation”.

The move follows increased demand from brands for digital campaigns that not only reach high-value audiences but also deliver measurable outcomes.

MAXMEDIALAB described the hire as part of its broader strategy to remain competitive as market growth accelerates and clients seek more integrated, performance-driven approaches.
