Women’s media publisher Marie Claire has partnered with charity World Vision Australia to launch “Rewrite the future for girls”, an exclusive live event that celebrated International Day of the Girl.

The event was hosted at Town Hall yesterday by Marie Claire editor Georgie McCourt and brought together a panel of World Vision ambassadors including Maria Thattil, Kishwar Chowdhury and Erin Holland.

Attention was on World Vision’s 1000 Girls campaign, which advocates for girls rights to education, safety and empowerment around the world.

“For over 30 years, marie claire has championed the voices of women, shining a light on the stories that matter and celebrating those who create change,"said Marie Claire Australia editor, Georgie McCourt.

"We are so proud to partner with World Vision on Rewrite Her Future, a truly powerful initiative that gives a platform to fearless voices and supports opportunities for girls around the world.

The collaboration showcases the brand’s ability to connect audiences, advertisers and purpose-driven initiatives, creating powerful opportunities for marketers to align with content that inspires action.”
