Mamamia appoints Michila Macleod to head of agency sales for Victoria

Women’s media publisher Mamamia has appointed Michila Macleod to its new head of agency sales for Victoria.

Macleod brings her experience across media, publishing, audio, digital and content partnerships with previous roles at Broadsheet, News Corp, Bauer, ACP, Authentic Entertainment and BBC Studios. 

Macleod also backs purpose-driven work in her roles as general manager of partnerships at FightMND and has a mentor with Assiterhood which focuses on helping underrepresented advertising and communications professionals within the industry 

Georgie Nichols, chief revenue officer at Mamamia, credits Macleods commercial experience in the industry as well as her passion for delivering meaningful work and relationships.

“Michila joins Mamamia with over 23 years of industry experience and an outstanding record of leading high-performing teams across Victoria and nationally,” she said. 

"What excites me most is the combination of her commercial expertise with her clear commitment to purpose, people-first leadership, and meaningful partnerships. Together with Lanai and Jess, Michila will play a key role in shaping Mamamia’s next phase of growth, supporting our teams and partners, and delivering real impact for Australian women and the brands we work with.”

Macleod said she is excited to join the team and its mission to deliver culture, community and connection.
