LUMO Digital Outdoor will launch New Zealand's largest roadside landscape digital billboard in Auckland, giving advertisers a new large-format option on one of the city's busiest transport routes.
The screen, LUMO-Great Southern Lights, is located in Penrose and will go live on Monday, 2 November 2026. It sits on Great South Road, connecting the Auckland CBD, Auckland Airport and commercial centres across East, Central and South Auckland.
The site delivers more than 2.2 million impressions a week, with an average dwell time of 25 seconds.
At 26.4 metres wide and 6 metres high, the screen offers a 158-square-metre digital canvas with a corner return more than four times the size of a standard 12m x 3m landscape billboard.
LUMO CEO and co-founder Phil Clemas said the site reflected demand from advertisers for premium digital out-of-home combining a strong location with creative potential.
"LUMO-Great Southern Lights gives brands a rare combination of scale, visibility and time in one of Auckland's busiest transport arterials,” Clemas said.
“Positioned on a main arterial route corner on Great South Road, it will be seen early, and viewable from all four intersections presenting genuine opportunity for advertisers to build fame and for agencies to develop work designed specifically for the environment.”
LUMO is in discussion with agencies and brands ahead of the launch, with limited inaugural availability for advertisers seeking early access.
