Marc Lomas will join the talent heading overseas in the wake of Henry Tajer's promotion to the top job of global CEO of IPG Mediabrands, with the current Cadreon Australia boss to take up a “major role in Cardeon's international operations”.

Lomas is expected to relocate outside of Australia, and so with Lomas heading overseas, current general manager of Cadreon Jessica White will step up to become managing director.

It is thought that Cadreon is now on the hunt for a general manager to replace White.

“Marc and Jessica have been the architects of Cadreon’s industry leadership in programmatic,” IPG Mediabrands group commercial director Dan Johns said.

“As a talent, Marc has been very visible in the Cadreon international network as programmatic has become a significant presence on clients’ media schedules.”

“In Jess we have the most ideal executive to lead Cadreon going forward. She has been highly influential and a major driver across the Cadreon portfolio, with close working relationships across the skill sets and client teams in the IPG Mediabrands group.”

Launched in August 2011, Cadreon now has total staff approaching 40 people. White joined in February last year.

The departure of Lomas from the IPG local business adds to the departure of Travis Johnson from Mnet, who is following Henry Tajer to New York following his appointment to the global CEO role.
