Live FX data streamed to oOh!media's digital network

Airwallex is bringing live foreign exchange data into out-of-home (OOH) advertising through a campaign with oOh!media and Accenture Song.

Powered by Airwallex's FX infrastructure and Forex API, the campaign streams live exchange rate movements across oOh!'s digital network.

Developed by POLY, oOh!'s creative and innovation hub, a custom integration connects Airwallex's FX platform directly to oOh!'s digital assets, enabling campaign content to update automatically as exchange rates move.

The campaign highlights how digital OOH is evolving beyond scheduled advertising into a connected channel where live data can inform creative and deliver more timely, contextual experiences in the physical world.

Mark Fairhurst, chief revenue officer at oOh!media, said Airwallex was using digital OOH to deliver relevant messaging in environments where business audiences are engaged.

"Airwallex isn't just reaching business leaders, it's using digital OOH to deliver relevant messaging in environments where these audiences are engaged and receptive," Fairhurst said.

"Research shows that when content is displayed in the right context, brain response increases by 32%, reinforcing the role premium office environments play in capturing attention and driving stronger brand recall among influential audiences."

Short-form content featuring client testimonials and case studies is also being shown across oOh!'s office network and the the Qantas Business and Club Lounge networks.

Jen Snell, Airwallex ANZ marketing director, said the company wanted its advertising to reflect the real-time nature of global business.

"Businesses operating globally make decisions in real time, so we want our advertising to reflect the same reality. Rather than talking about foreign exchange, we want to demonstrate it," Snell said.

"By bringing live FX data into premium business environments, we're showing how Airwallex helps businesses navigate global markets while also demonstrating the flexibility of our platform and API infrastructure."
