Lionize, the independent agency saved from administration in 2022, has gone under again.

Playmaker Media, trading as Lionize, has gone into liquidation, according to notices by Australia's corporate regulator, ASIC.

A general meeting of the members of Playmaker Media resolved that the company be wound up, ASIC said.

John Chand and Patrick Loi of Greengate Advisory have been appointed liquidators.

The full-service creative and media agency went into administration in 2022 reportedly owing more than $5 million.

However, in a deal with majority shareholder Playmaker Labs in NZ, the agency was reformed via a sale.

The Australian entity Playmaker Media Pty Ltd took over the business in November 2022 in a deal including $650,000 cash.

In New Zealand, High Court at Wellington has received an application to put Playmaker Labs into administration.
