Connected TV advertising company LG Ad Solutions has appointed Marj Hetherton and Adelina Moon sales directors for its Australia team following its launch in the market last month.
Both join from Samsung Ads. Hetherton was a sales director and Moon account director ANZ, Agency & Partnerships.
The appointments follow LG Ad Solutions' official Australian launch led by commercial director Alex Blundell Jones.
"Our vision for Australia is to bring advertisers the most advanced and creative CTV solutions available—and that requires the best talent in the industry," said Blundell Jones.
"Marj and Adelina have built incredible reputations while educating the market. Their expertise and character make them exceptional additions, I couldn't be happier to have them as part of our founding team in Australia."
LG Ad Solutions says it is experiencing strong momentum since its launch, with growing adoption of LG's streaming app LG Channels and expanding advertiser interest in home screen placements.
"Advertisers in Australia are looking for ways to cut through the fragmentation of streaming and connect with audiences in meaningful moments," Blundell Jones said.
"By combining LG's scale in Smart TVs with advanced data and creative formats, we're helping brands achieve both precision and impact. The early traction we're seeing in Australia reflects the global momentum behind CTV as the future of television advertising."
LG Ad Solutions leverages millions of LG Smart TVs in Australian homes to offer advertisers a platform to connect with consumers using LG's first-party viewing data and premium ad formats including native, video and interactive experiences.
