Creative agency Ortolan will no longer be working as the lead agency for clothing brand Country Road, as of early next year.

The agency has been working with the group since 2009 when it became the lead agency on Trenery and was appointed the lead agency on the Country Road account two years later.

In a statement Ortolan director Chloe Quigley said: “Although the Country Road account has been an important part of our business for three years, and together we have achieved incredible results, we feel the time is right for Country Road to benefit from a different perspective that a new creative partner could bring.

"It is an exciting and quintessential Australian brand and we feel we are leaving them in a strong position with a very defined vision.”

It is unknown if the creative account will now be out for pitch.

In October this year Country Road enlisted Australian model Gemma Ward for its “Summer Wonder” campaign, which marked the model's first major appearance since her hiatus from the industry six years earlier.
