Optus has appointed Lauren Dawber executive general manager of marketing, promoting from within following her joining the company in 2023.
Dawber has held senior leadership roles across the Optus marketing portfolio and brings more than 20 years of experience across global media agencies and enterprise organisations.
Felicity Ross, Optus chief corporate affairs and marketing officer, said Dawber had already made a significant contribution since joining the company.
"Lauren is a highly regarded marketing leader with a strong track record in building customer-led brands and leading high-performing teams," she said.
“Her role will be central to how we bring our focus on championing the customer to life — ensuring we show up in a way that is clear, consistent and grounded in what matters most to our customers and Australians.”
