ARN Media is taking the Kyle & Jackie O show, with its premium priced advertising slots, off the air.
Jacqueline Henderson has given notice that she “cannot continue to work with Mr Kyle Sandilands,” the company said.
Jackie was fighting tears after an on-air fight last month when her co-host accused her of being “off with the fairies”.
The pair reportedly signed a 10 year, $100 million contract in 2023.
The media group told the ASX the KIIS breakfast show will be taken off-air effective immediately, with interim arrangements made for the show.
And ARN has terminated the services agreement with Henderson Media Pty Ltd, under which Henderson presents the Kyle and Jackie O show.
However, the company has offered to her the possibility of an alternative show on the ARN network.
ARN has given written notice to Kyle Sandilands and Quasar Media Services stating that it considers that Mr Sandilands’ behaviour during the show on February 20 an act of “serious misconduct".
The company said Sandilands has been given 14 days to remedy this breach.
“If it is not remedied, ARN will terminate the services agreement with Quasar Media, and in that event Mr Sandilands will cease to present the Kyle and Jackie O show,” the company said.
“During the 14 day period, Mr Sandilands will not take part in the show.”
