KPMG Australia has promoted current head of brand Sudeep Gohil to the role of partner within the firm.

The former Droga5 Australia CEO joined the business in August last year, relocating back to Australia after a stint with Publicis India.

Gohil currently works within KPMG’s Customer, Brand and Marketing Advisory services division helping clients with brand strategy and providing strategic guidance to KPMG’s own brand and market position.

“I am incredibly excited to be invited into the partnership at KPMG. The growth of our Customer, Brand and Marketing team which I sit within has been testament to the work we have been delivering," Gohil says.

"I am looking forward to further extending our offering and delivering more marketing and brand strategy focused projects for our diverse range of clients."

Gohil had worked at Droga5 for eight years, having been the top boss from 2012-2015 before the shop shut.

He has also worked with some of the world’s leading brands including Nike, Levi's, Coca-Cola, P&G, Tooheys, Electronic Arts, Virgin, Netflix and UNICEF.

The well-travelled Australian has worked across the world, including Mumbai, Los Angeles, New York, Singapore, Tokyo, Portland and Sydney.
