National creative studio Kojo has announced the appointment of Andrew Fotheringham to the newly created role of head of clients and marketing services, based out of the company's Adelaide studio.

Fotheringham was most recently the general manager - marketing and communications of Events South Australia, a division of the South Australian Tourism Commission, and was responsible for the promotion of South Australia’s premier major events including Tour Down Under and Tasting Australia.

Prior to that, he held several senior client management roles with agencies CumminsHybrid, KWP! and Showpony.

“With many years of marketing experience gained on both agency and client side, I’m excited to be entrusted with expanding KOJO’s unique and compelling service offering to further benefit our current clients as well as attract new clients," Fotheringham says.

The new role within Kojo Creative has national responsibility and is charged with its client growth strategy including the expansion of the marketing services area.

Fotheringham joins the Kojo Creative management team led by the recently promoted, head of Kojo Creative, Jess Hill.

“Fothers is a well regarded senior marketing and communications professional with over twenty years of experience and we’re delighted to have him on board to drive our agency’s growth ambitions across our national offices," Kojo CEO Stephen Lord says.

The appointment further bolsters the Kojo Creative team which also recently announced the additions of Bim Ricketson as group creative director and Emma Gill as creative director.
