Kaimera built a client roster that also includes GSK, Luv-A-Duck, and Praemium.

Nando’s has appointed independent media agency Kaimera as its media agency of record.

Kaimera, which launched its Melbourne office 12 months ago, has quickly grown from a one-person operation to a seven-member team.

The agency has built a client roster including GSK, Luv-A-Duck, Praemium, and others.

Kaimera CEO Nick Behr said the appointment was a significant milestone for the agency.

“It’s proof of the incredible work (GM) Garth (Moring) and the Melbourne team have put in,” he said.

“We set out to build a strong offering in Melbourne, and in just a year, we’ve built a team and won some fantastic clients.”

Nando’s head of brand Tom Blackburn said the decision came down to finding a partner that matched the brand’s energy and ambition.

“Their (Kaimera) planning and buying expertise, skills and deep knowledge of the market set them apart from any other agency,” he said.

“We were looking for a team that truly understood our brand and audience, and Kaimera absolutely delivered. We’re excited for what’s ahead.”

General manager of the Kaimera Melbourne office, Garth Moring, has previous experience working with Nando’s.

“To now be leading their media strategy at Kaimera is incredibly rewarding,” he said.

“They’re one of the most vibrant, culturally connected brands in the market, and we’re looking forward to helping them grow and evolve with a bold, effective media strategy.”
