Justin Drape and Michael Canning’s Exceptional ALIEN just launched a capital raise.

Money raised via the Birchal equity crowdfunding campaign will be used to add more people to a roster of 500 creatives/celebrities/sporting stars featured on the platform.

Exceptional Alien combats fake online travel reviews by harnessing the power of authentic reviews, told by the world’s leading creatives.

“We interview inspirational people about places they love and share their insights which you can learn from and follow,” says co-founder Justin Drape, a founder of The Monkeys and former group co-CCO Accenture Interactive ANZ.

“A Travel Playbook is a personal play-by-play curation of recommendations from inspiring talents around the globe.

“They don’t have to be household names, but they are all exceptional creatives at the top of their field, and they all love to travel and unearth experiences that enrich their lives.”

Exceptional ALIEN has recently secured a significant partnership with Skyscanner, a global giant in the travel market used by over 100 million people per month.

"With Australian international air fares skyrocketing by over 50% above pre-pandemic rates, it's clear you cannot afford a sub-standard travel itinerary,” says Drape.

The average return economy international fare from Australia has surged to $1,827, up 46% compared to 2022 and 63% higher than pre-pandemic fares in 2019.

The Exceptional ALIEN fund raising is in the expression of interest phase that ends October 31. Potential investors are asked to express whether they would like to invest in the business and approximately how much.

It’s only towards the end of this period that they will know exactly how much money they will potentially raise, the share price, and how much the company will be valued at.

The minimum target is expected expected to be around $500,000, and the maximum target will be announced closer to the end of the expression of interest phase.
