Trans-Tasman independent jnr. has appointed Jenny Mak executive creative director and partner, less than 18 months after the agency launched.

Mak joins from DDB where she was creative partner, working on campaigns for Volkswagen and Westpac.

"JMak's arrival marks a pivotal moment for our agency," said John Marshall, managing director and founder of jnr.

"Her passion, insight, and proven track record will elevate our work and accelerate the next chapter of our growth."

Mak has worked in advertising for more than two decades, leading campaigns for Coca-Cola Australia, Huggies, U by Kotex and Transport for NSW.

She joins founders Marshall and Ryan O'Connell to form a three-person leadership team.

O'Connell said Mak was "one of the most talented, kind, and mature creative leaders out there".

"This agency's fearless spirit, commitment to creativity, and collaborative culture perfectly align with my values," Mak said.

"Together, we'll push creative boundaries, deliver work that works, and foster a workplace where diverse voices and ideas thrive."
