Jessica Wood and Kristy Emmanouil have launched a media focused consultancy agency, Bloom Strategy.

The consultancy aims to support operations across sales, client, marketing and leadership teams.

The duo also hope to prevent burn-out across the media industry.

According to the 2024 Mentally Healthy Survey, Never not Creative, 70% of workers in the media, marketing and creative industry experienced burnout over the course of 12 months.

Bloom will focus on three key areas.

The first, Seed & Sprout, offers creative facilitation through strategic workshops and foundation learning sessions designed to help leaders and teams align on vision, unlock creativity and turn instinct into clear commercial direction.

The second area, Flourish, centers on strategic storytelling by developing compelling narratives that help brands articulate their value to advertisers, audiences and internal teams.

Meanwhile, Harvest focuses on creating playbooks, frameworks and tools that embed best practice, enabling teams to consistently deliver strong creative and strategic outcomes.

Wood has a background in sales, creative thinking and strategic leadership.

Her experience includes two decades of experience across NewsCorp, Snapchat and Click Media.

Emmanouil also has experience working at Snapchat and News Corp Australia, her work focusing on bringing clarity, confidence and creative thinking into problem-solving, to support leadership teams.

“The media industry moves fast and often teams are not equipped with the right knowledge, systems and structures to ensure that employees' wellbeing and creative thinking is protected whilst being able to deliver incredible work at pace,” said Emmanouil.

“Great ideas don’t land on their own and great teams aren’t formed by accident,” said Wood.

“With the right combination of creative spark and structured process, organisations can unlock their highest potential.”
