Jaywing has absorbed media shop RQ Media and creative agency Three Scoops as it builds out its offer under new owner Merchantwise Group.
The move brings clients such as Disneyland Paris, Fiji Airways, Healthylife and Soundbay into Jaywing’s roster, which already includes New Balance, Crocs, Myer, Intuit QuickBooks and a2 Milk.
It also tightens Jaywing’s link with sister agency Frank Digital, which focuses on digital product and UX design.
Jaywing has set out three areas of focus, brand strategy and creative, customer experience, and performance marketing aimed at measurable commercial outcomes.
Headcount rises to 110 across Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, with senior hires to follow.
“Clients are looking for partners who can connect the dots between brand, experience and performance and prove the impact of every decision,” Jaywing CEO, Tom Geekie, said.
“By bringing RQ Media and Three Scoops into the Jaywing family, we’re combining data-led strategy with creativity and media execution under one roof.
“For our clients, that means deeper insight, faster optimisation and more cohesive growth strategies powered by a shared foundation of data and technology.”
Merchantwise bought Jaywing and Frank Digital in August as part of a plan to build a top five independent marketing and media group.
It has also acquired The Social CliQ, The Content CliQ and, last year, RQ Media. RQ Media and Three Scoops will keep their own brands.
“The addition of RQ Media and Three Scoops further strengthens Jaywing’s market-leading position, deepening its media and creative expertise and expanding its ability to help clients grow faster and more intelligently,” said Merchantwise CEO, Alan Schauder,” said.
“This integration is another important step in building Merchantwise Group into one of Australia’s leading independent brand management, marketing and media businesses.”
