Jane King to head marketing at AANA

The Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA) has appointed Jane King director, member engagement & marketing.

Jane King has held senior roles at Cartology (Woolworths Group), Val Morgan and APN Outdoor (JCDecaux).

“As a marketer, I understand the challenges of the ever-changing industry and the pressures marketing teams are facing,” said King.

“The AANA plays a vital role in uniting marketers, driving effectiveness, and championing responsible growth across our industry.”

Josh Faulks, CEO, AANA, said King is perfectly placed to help drive our next phase of growth.

"She will play a critical role in strengthening the value we deliver to our members and amplifying AANA’s impact as we shape the future of a trusted and sustainable marketing industry in Australia," he said.

Nicolette Briscoe, head of marketing at the AANA, is stepping down to focus on Moonshot Marketing, her consulting business as a fractional head of marketing 

She said it had been a privilege to work alongside some of the country’s most respected marketers during a time of change in the industry.

"Highlights include refreshing the AANA brand and website, helping shape its story and tone, and amplifying the RESET platform — work I’m really proud of," she said.
