IVE Group has completed its acquisition of creative agency Daily Press, finalising a deal valued at $35m.

The transaction gives IVE 100% ownership of Daily Press, an Australian-based creative agency specialising in digital, social media and performance marketing.

IVE said the acquisition supports its Now to 2030 strategy, a long-term growth plan focused on expanding earnings through organic growth and acquisitions.

The deal strengthens IVE’s existing creative and content capabilities and adds depth in social and performance marketing and technology platforms.

IVE said its operating model differs from traditional agency structures by delivering creative-led, integrated solutions that move from idea to execution, connecting strategy, content, technology and production across online, offline and in-store environments through a single marketing services partner.

Daily Press has been integrated into IVE’s creative, content and integrated solutions division and is expected to relocate to IVE’s Sydney head office later in 2026.

Daily Press founder and chief executive Wayne Knight remains within the business following completion.

IVE expects the acquisition to contribute about $23m in annual revenue and $5.5m in EBITDA.

The purchase price comprises $25m paid in cash at completion, up to $8m in deferred consideration subject to agreed performance hurdles over the first and second 12-month periods post-completion.

It is also required to be up to a further $2m in deferred consideration, up to $1m per earnout period, based on performance against stretch targets.

The acquisition was funded from existing cash reserves and undrawn debt capacity and is expected to be mid-single digit EPS accretive before synergies in calendar year 2026.

IVE expects to generate about $1m a year in cost synergies by bringing print, distribution and activation services in-house.

Additional revenue and cross-sell synergies are expected as creative-led engagements flow through IVE’s production, logistics, CX and data, merchandise and activation businesses.

The Daily Press employs around 65 staff and works with retainer clients across hospitality, QSR, sports, franchise and retail, generates recurring revenue and owns the Indy martech platform used to create, localise, deploy and measure content across print, digital and social channels.
