Creative network Iris has made two senior leadership appointments to its Sydney office, with a former JWT planner and Momentum creative director joining the team.

Jon Kelly joins Iris as a creative director from a role at Momentum Worldwide, with his new role seeing him lead the Sydney creative team to push integration and innovation.

Kelly previously held a role at Iris Sydney between 2007 and 2010, as well as roles at Iris London and Omnicom-owned Rapp London (at the time WWAV Rapp Collins).

In addition, Iris has poached Celia Garforth from JWT Sydney for a role as planning director, taking leadership for the Sydney office especially on the Samsung, Adidas and Fiji Airways accounts.

Garforth has also held roles at Host and tech start-up Muzeek, before working at JWT for the past three years.

Iris Sydney managing director Penny Dixon says the agency is focused on growth and having the best people to do this.

“Following a storming year of success in Australia, for clients like Samsung, Adidas and Fiji Airways, we have ambitious growth plans for 2016 – and it is having the best talent that makes that growth a possibility,” Dixon says.
