Australian independent digital agency Claxon is opening its doors in the US.

The Gold Coast-based agency will open its office this week in Los Angeles to service the large volume of enquiries it has been receiving from the US.

Claxon co-founder and chief evangelist Brett Campbell says the agency will be bring a "fresh approach" in digital growth strategy to the US market.

Claxon has attracted talent from American agencies such as Mutesix, ensuring it makes an early impact within the market as it brings its unique approach to digital growth strategy to the US.

“Even though we’re fortunate to be in an industry without borders, there’s nothing quite like having ‘boots on the ground’ within a region," Claxon co-founder and CEO Daniel Willis says.

"This move, and significant investment, shows our commitment to success in North America."
