Peter Bray, regional vice president of sales ANZ at impact.com, announced on LinkedIn his role had been made redundant as part of a "cost reduction exercise".

Bray said he has nothing lined up next but is open to opportunities.

He has worked for the partnership automation company since 2018, initially starting as a account director. Bray thanked Adam Furness, MD at impact.com, for granting him the opportunity to grow.

"My time at impact.com comes to an end as part of a cost reduction exercise" Bray said.

"From a '4 person office' (WeWork were very ambitious squeezing 4 pax into those glorified cubicles) to an APAC team of over 100, working together to change the face of affiliate and champion partnerships as a growth driver - we did a pretty good job taking ANZ alone from less than 5% of the market to over 50%.

"To the customers that shared in our vision, championed us, joined us, grew with us, advocated for us - thank you."

This news follows a rush of redundancies across adland at the end of 2023 as consumer sentiment ended its second worst year on record, sales teams across outdoor, TV, radio and other media platforms were particularly hit.
