Imagination Australia has strengthened its creative team with the addition of Michael Reid as creative director for its Melbourne office.

Reid previously served as owner and executive creative director (ECD) of experience design agency Iconpath.

"I'm beyond excited to join the team where I hope to take my obsession with creating memorable customer journeys to the next level by leveraging Imagination's world-class technological platforms, production expertise and international reach," Reid says.

In his 15 years as a multidisciplinary creative director, writer and producer he has created concepts for major events, world expos and attractions for brands including Salesforce, Google, YouTube, Sea Life, Cartoon Network, Madame Tussauds, Lexus and Mercedes-Benz.

His skillset spans strategy, creative direction, marketing, live performance, content production and environmental design.

In his new role, Reid will work closely with Imagination Australia ECD Chris James and Melbourne general manager Saarika Chotai to drive Imagination’s creative vision in Australia and across the APAC region through the creation of brand and customer experiences.

“We’re pretty excited about Mike joining the Melbourne team. Mike is not only an outstanding and experienced creative, but also a very commercially minded one," James says.

"He’s the perfect person to drive the creative offering of our Melbourne office.”
