History Will Be Kind (HWBK) has been appointed communications agency for Moxy Sydney Airport,.

Moxy Sydney Airport, on track to open in August, is the first Moxy hotel to open its doors in Australia and New Zealand, bringing the brand’s playful, thoughtful and spirited approach downunder.

The HWBK team will position the hotel as the choice for millennial travellers, supercharging the hotel launch moment and beyond through a targeted earned and influencer marketing strategy.

Michelle Scott, GM at Moxy Sydney Airport, said Moxy is a bold, established brand, so for its debut in Australia, they had a clear mission to find a partner that could help bring it to life.

"HWBK impressed us with their passion, insight-led approach, creative thinking and importantly, their team’s alignment with our vision, values and brand," said Scott.

"We’re looking forward to collaborating, launching Moxy Sydney Airport with a bang and becoming a key player in the Sydney hotel scene.”

HWBK business director, Edwina Brook, said the partnership with this Marriott International brand presents an exciting opportunity to both showcase and help craft a completely different kind of airport hotel experience.

"Moxy Sydney Airport will break all the rules of a conventional hotel stay - from check in at the bar, to the stylish industrial design, tech-enabled rooms, vibrant communal spaces and inspired activations," said Brook.

"It represents the changing face of travel in Australia, and we’re excited to be part of it.”

Moxy Sydney Airport joins HWBK’s line up of travel and destination clients which include the likes of ChristchurchNZ, Celebrity Cruises, Etihad Airways, ICC Sydney, Sydney Airport and Webjet.
