Carat Sydney continues its hiring spree with Kerry Boys joining from UM as head of strategy.

Boys will join new MD Dan Sinfield, freshly lured from OMD and will fill former strategy director Christine McKinnon's chair. McKinnon has been promoted to head of insights.

Carat ANZ chief strategy officer Gavin Ashcroft said Boys, who has worked with clients including Coca-Cola, Heinz, Sony AMP and Cathay Pacific would be a “huge asset” to the firm.

"Kerry brings experience across strategy, communications planning and business management,” said Ashcroft. “As we continue to invest in our strategy team in Sydney, Kerry’s enthusiasm, passion for media and leadership skills will be central to delivering our ambitions.”

McKinnon's promotion “allows Christine to focus on and grow our expertise in consumer insights, an area that she has developed throughout her career”, said Ashcroft.
