Hello agency launches the Social Media Swingers Club

Integrated agency Hello is bringing marketers Mark Ritson and Andrew Tindall together for a one-night live event in Sydney on May 26, reviewing social ads on stage using System1's Test Your Ad Social platform.

Social Media Swingers Club takes place at Telstra CIC Sydney, with Ritson and Tindall joining Hello CEO Sam Kelly to assess work submitted by attendees at registration.

Tindall said most marketing events were dull, which he argued contributed to dull advertising.

"System1 has literally proven that the more entertaining social is, the more effective it becomes. So we are going to spice things up. Join us for an afternoon of unusually-fun social effectiveness," he said.

Kelly said the event reflected the agency's view that brand building sat between timeless effectiveness principles and new-school platform thinking.

"Building brands in the digital era has never been more complex," he said.

“The old-school rules still matter: fewer, bigger, better ideas, consistency and distinctive assets. But platforms and consumers now demand more content, more formats and more speed.

"This event is about exploring how the best brands are balancing both worlds, creating social work that actually works.”

The event is free for industry, agency and brand-side marketers, with limited spots available.
