Helen McCabe.
Helen McCabe is taking sole ownership of Future Women, the professional development and gender equity platform she founded, after Nine Entertainment sold its stake back to her, AdNews understands.
Nine has been a shareholder since Future Women's founding in 2018, with the remaining stake held by McCabe.
AdNews understands Nine has exited as part of a broader portfolio realignment that also saw it sell Pedestrian Group to Vinyl Group.
Future Women has grown from a premium digital subscription service for professional women into a professional development and employment platform.
Its Jobs Academy program, launched in 2021, has helped thousands of women find work, attracting more than $17 million in state and federal government funding.
McCabe founded Future Women after serving as editor-in-chief of The Australian Women's Weekly, deputy editor of The Sunday Telegraph and digital content director at Nine.
She was appointed to the federal government's Department of Employment and Workplace Relations' Employment Services Reform Advisory Group earlier this year.
AdNews has contacted Nine for comment.
