Havas Media Group has appointed Alex Wollacott to the newly created role of performance director.
Wollacott previously spent six years at Omnicom Media Group’s digital arm, Resolution Australia, where she worked across search, social, programmatic and SEO channels and managed a team to deliver digital strategy and implementation for top tier media clients.
Her most recent role as activation account director, saw her lead digital activation channels for clients in the tech, FMCG, finance and leisure verticals.
“I’m very excited to work alongside Alex and continue to expand our Performance Media leadership team,” says head of performance at Havas Media Group Adam Steward.
“Her experience and passion for making media drive success for clients makes her a valuable addition to our rapidly expanding media team. I am looking forward to building on the fantastic momentum that we already have with Alex.”
Wollacott’s appointment comes after Havas Media Group named Dan Johns as managing partner. The business also acquired indie agency Hyland last year, naming Virginia Hyland as its new CEO for Australia.
