Independent creative agency Hardhat has promoted Andy Segal and Chris Hince to executive creative directors.

The two will lead the agency’s brand creative offering, alongside ECD Reece Ryan, who leads experience and CX. The pair joined Hardhat three years ago and have been working together for almost a decade.

In their time at Hardhat, Segal and Hince have led the charge across major campaigns and accounts including Dare Iced Coffee, DocuSign, Willed and Lilydale. The promotion solidifies the agency’s commitment to delivering best in class creative work, alongside its deep expertise and long history in CX.

Issy Bonin, general manager at Hardhat, said: “We’re delighted to see the dynamic duo that is Chris and Andy step into their much deserved roles as Executive Creative Directors.

“The two have been an integral part in formulating Hardhat's great work and culture over the years and we’re excited to see them take our creative work to new heights.”

Hince: “Since joining Hardhat in 2019, we’ve seriously enjoyed working with this group of smart, passionate people. We’ve won new business, we’re making work we’re proud of, and now we’re up for the challenge to help lead and grow the agency.”

Hardhat was founded in 2005 by Dan Monheit and Justin Kabbani. The agency, now a team approaching 50, builds brands through a combination of creativity and behavioural insights. Hardhat clients include DocuSign, Superhero, Bega Dairy & Drinks, Victoria University, Willed and Simply Energy.
