H&R Block has launched a campaign, Don't Tax Yourself, challenging Australians to question whether doing their own tax return is leaving money on the table.
Developed with creative agency frog, part of Capgemini, and media agency PHD, the campaign rolls out across television, BVOD, SVOD, radio, OOH, social and digital ahead of tax season. The campaign platform is Don't Tax Yourself. Max Your Tax with H&R Block.
Iris Ho, H&R Block Australia marketing director, said too many Australians approached tax time with a good enough mindset.
"This campaign is designed to challenge that thinking and encourage people to ask whether they're really getting the most from their tax return. We want Australians to know they don't have to navigate tax time alone," she said.
Jerome Gaslain, creative lead at frog, said the campaign aimed to make people stop and question what they might be missing.
"By reframing DIY tax as taxing yourself, we're shining a light on the hidden opportunities Australians could be leaving on the table and positioning H&R Block as the advocate that's working to maximise their return," he said.
