Newly-installed PBL Media chief executive David Gyngell has restructured the group's senior management team, with ACP Magazines' Phil Scott and Nine Network's Jeff Browne both assuming new roles.
Scott has been promoted to MD of ACP, while ACP's chief operating
and finance officer Matthew Stanton will now oversee the ACP New
Zealand, Asia and Trader Businesses.
Browne has been appointed managing director of Nine Network Australia, while Brett Dickson has been named as chief operating and finance officer of Nine.
Pat O'Sullivan has also taken on the broader role of chief operating officer and finance director of PBL Media. She will work closely with Gyngell on day-to-day operations.
On the promotion of Scott, Gyngell said in a statement: “Phil is a proven publisher and editor with a great track record of growing the business. He understands the value of integrated media assets and I respect his commercial judgement, creativity and entrepreneurial skills.”
Gyngell added that Scott’s "great drive and hard work" this year as group publishing director had been a big factor in ACP winning 10 of the 17 Australian Magazine Awards last week, including Magazine of the Year for Australian Women’s Weekly.
The shake-up comes just one week after Gyngell's appointment was announced.
