MEC has boosted its Sydney office, with Marcus Layman to replace the recently departed Thomas Lyngsfeldt as digital director, and Jan Aguilar coming on board to service its Nestle account.

Layman joins from MediaCom Singapore, where he was the regional senior manager. Before that, he was with MediaCom Sydney.

Previous digital director Thomas Lyngsfeldt has headed to creative agency Social Soup to head up the agency sales side of the business.

Jan Aguilar has also jumped from MediaCom Singapore to MEC Sydney. In Singapore she was the regional associate lead on P&G Skincare, having also previously served at MediaCom in Sydney.

Aguilar will become the director of client and communications on the recently won $60 million Nestle account.
