Grant Broadcasters has signed three content directors for its QLD/NT team.

Ryan Khay, Keith Fowler and Billy McFerran are joining in Darwin, Townsville and Bundaberg.

Ryan Khay will lead the NT team in Darwin at Hot 100 and Mix 104.9. He said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be working with a company that has such a strong focus on live and local radio and fostering and growing talent.

"I am also looking forward to throwing off the sub-zero degree Gippsland mornings for the climate that the top end offers this time of year."

He starts in Darwin June 24.

Keith Fowler, with more than 40 years industry experience at home and overseas, will be content director for Star 106.3 and Power FM Townsville.

He said “I am absolutely looking forward to getting to know the staff and immersing myself in the evolving content for Star 106.3 and Power100 while maintaining and enhancing the fiercely local focus already in place. Roll on July.” He will be in the Townsville building from July 5.

Billy McFerran will be joining the Bundaberg team at Hitz 939 and 4BU also from July 5.

He said: It seems like I'm heading back home to the family after having worked with so many people within the Grants team over the years. Hitz and 4BU are absolute leaders here in local radio and I can't wait to make Bundaberg my home."

Grant Broadcasters Australian group content director Ryan Rathbone: “The addition of three such talented content directors to the group is just another example of the company's commitment to growth and our staff.

"I can’t wait to see the improvements in each market under their direction in the coming months and years”.
