Out-of-home verification company Veridooh has appointed Richard Spilsbury lead product manager.
Spilsbury is the former regional product lead APAC at Google with experience in product strategy and commercialisation within adtech, including work on the Google Marketing Platform (GMP).
“Having spent 15 years contributing to the data-driven explosion of growth in online advertising, I see the exact same growth drivers—automation, trust, and effectiveness—now transforming OOH,” said Veridooh lead product manager Richard Spilsbury.
“Veridooh is at the epicentre of this shift. I’m here to apply my experience to innovate our product, giving advertisers the confidence to invest in OOH with the same certainty as they do in an online context, both in Australia and globally.”
Veridooh co-founder and co-CEO Jeremy Yang credited Spilsbury's global experience in digital advertising and how it will benefit its goal of accelerating growth in the out-of-home market.
"Attracting a leader of Richard's caliber from a world-class company like Google is a powerful validation of the future we’re building for OOH. He has had a front-row seat to the hyper-growth of digital advertising and understands that independent verification is the key to unlocking similar exponential growth,” he said.
“Bringing his expertise to Veridooh will accelerate our mission to give brands the unwavering confidence they need to invest significantly in OOH, just as they have in the online world.”
