Grant Madigan becomes vice president of sales at Paramount ANZ next month following the departure of long-serving chief of sales Rod Prosser.

He steps up from his current role as head of commerce and sales operations.

Madigan brings more than 25 years of experience in trading, data-driven strategy and multi-platform sales across three stints at Network 10, now part of Paramount.

He first joined Network 10 in 1998 as a sales assistant, before moving through senior roles at Nine Network and WIN Television.

He returned to Network 10 in 2007, holding a series of senior sales and trading positions including group sales manager, Sydney trading manager and national trading manager, before joining Multi Channel Network (MCN) in 2015, where he spent three years in senior trading roles including head of trading.

Madigan returned to Network 10 in 2018 as head of commerce and sales operations, leading a specialist sales team responsible for revenue, analytics, traffic, technology and data insights.

"Rod has been an integral part of our business for a long time and is someone I genuinely admire. I have the utmost respect for him as a person and a leader, and I wish him continued success," said Madigan.

"I am genuinely excited for the opportunity to lead our national sales team, and I am grateful for the confidence shown in me by our business locally and internationally.

"I am looking forward to working closely with Lee Sears, Beverley McGarvey and our local leadership team here at Paramount ANZ, to continue evolving our market offering and delivering positive outcomes for our advertisers and partners."
