Flight Centre has named Joachim Holte, Kmart’s digital marketer, as its CMO.

Holte has been with the retail giant for more than two years as its head of digital marketing.

In his new role he will report to Flight Centre executive general manager, Allisa O’Connell, focusing on the brand’s marketing and digital experience departements.

“The opportunities for growth and innovation are only limited by our imagination as the global demand for travel offerings continues to grow and change,” Holt says.

“Flight Centre has a long history of being a game changing brand and I feel privileged to be going on the next steps of that journey.”

Holte has previously worked at Yahoo!, as well as the CMO for travel search site we.go in Singapore.
