The final radio ratings for the year have landed, with Nine’s Macquarie Media firmly on top in the Sydney and Melbourne markets.
The network’s 2GB finished with 12.1% of the audience in Sydney and 3AW with 15.6% in Melbourne. In Sydney, Nova’s Smooth FM came in second, while ARN’s Fold 104.3 followed in Melbourne.
2GB and 3AW also retained the top spots for the final ratings in breakfast, covering the September 29 - December 7 period.
Following its recent shift to a music-focused program 2DayFM continued to lag behind in ratings, however picked up 0.2% of the overall listenership in Sydney.
