Independent creative and media agency Enigma has appointed Clare Yardley head of creative services.

Yardley joins after a decade as resource and creative services director at BMF Australia. She also worked as creative services director at Saatchi & Saatchi.

"To find an agency that genuinely values creative operations in the process of producing excellent work is fantastic," Yardley said.

In her new role, Yardley will embed agency-wide processes and systems to ensure delivery of creative work, drive cost efficiencies and foster cross-department collaboration.

Her appointment follows other key creative department hires this year, including Aldo Ferretto as creative director and head of art in June and Simon Lee as chief creative officer in March.

Chief creative officer Lee said Yardley's appointment was a key hire for the agency.

"A great creative services director provides the emotionally intelligent oil that keeps an agency humming," Lee said.

"The brief was to find a talismanic figure to take on this role, and that's Clare. She has great energy and has worked closely with many of the best in the business."

Enigma has a team of 80 and works with national brands and government agencies.
