Eleven absorbs Mango Sydney

Mango Communications Sydney, owned by DDB Group, has been absorbed into Omnicom's Eleven.

Tabitha Fairbairn, Mango's managing director, has departed as a result of the transition.

TBWA said in a statement that the transition is part of Omnicom Oceania’s review of its earned communications capabilities.

"The move ensures continuity for clients, with the same team and services now operating as a part of Eleven and sister agency FleishmanHillard, both a part of the TBWA collective," TBWA  said.

"Eleven is one of Australia’s most awarded PR agencies, recently named PR Agency of the Year by AdNews.

"Unfortunately, the transition means Tabitha Fairbairn, Mango Sydney managing director is leaving our business, and we thank Tabitha for her leadership and contribution to Mango Sydney."

Fairbairn joined Mango as managing director in 2017, previously working at Haystac as general manager.

Mango Communications launched in 2000 under DDB Group to specialise in PR and Communications.

Eleven was founded in New Zealand in 2006 and entered Australia in 2011.
