Edge has been appointed by family-owned Clare Valley wine producer Taylors Wines as lead creative and media agency following a competitive pitch.

Mitchell Taylor, managing director, Taylors Wines said: “We have a very clear plan on how we want to continue to grow the Taylors brand and broaden our appeal across new audiences and new markets – we liked that Edge shares our hunger to challenge industry norms and we’re looking forward to working with them.”

Edge managing director, David Stretch said: “We’re excited to be working with the Taylors team. From our first meeting we were struck not only by the rich history of this third-generation winemaker but by their relentless drive to constantly innovative and rewrite new chapters in their pursuit of making the very best wines. We’re looking forward to bringing this great story to life”.

Miles Omodei, CMO, Taylors Wines: “Choosing a new creative agency wasn’t something we took lightly. We were searching for an agency that not only understood where we have been as an innovative wine brand but where we should be heading. After sitting through several thought-provoking presentations, Edge demonstrated the perfect blend of strategic and creative thinking that excited and challenged us”.

The Taylors Wines win follows a number of recent new business successes for Edge including Hearing Australia, Charles Darwin University, DGtek, and Seagrass Hospitality.
