Edge appoints Clow as Melbourne MD

9 October 2014

Edge has appointed former BD Network boss and global marketer as MD of its Melbourne office.

Clow was MD of BD Network Australia and a director at its London office working on clients including McDonald’s, Coca-Cola and Nike.

Clow will drive conceptual and content development across the agency as it works to build “hyper-personalised experiences for brand audiences” through digital and content marketing.

Edge joint managing partner Fergus Stoddart said: “Consumers are looking for content that integrates with and adds value to their daily lives. Brands can no longer rely on traditional forms of advertising to reach people, but a mix of conceptual creative and content can help people engage with brands on a deeper level. It’s what we refer to as creative storytelling and it’s the future of marketing.

His appointment follows that of Mark Higgs and Andy Tickner as group account directors and Danielle Welton as head of content.
