Duxton Bees launches Fuzzy Bum

Duxton Bee’s launched new honey brand Fuzzy Bum to spread awareness about the Australian bee crisis and promote sustainable beekeeping.  

The name Fuzzy Bum was developed by strategic branding agency Tiny Hunter and references the tiny hairs on their backs that help collect pollen and attribute to healthy honeybees.

Duxton Bee's managing director, Keegan Blignaut, said the goal is to highlight the Importance of local beekeepers and sustainable honey production In Australia.

"Bees are essential to our environment and food security, yet they are under threat. By choosing 100% Australian honey, consumers can help protect these vital pollinators and support a more sustainable future," Blignaut said.

Duxton Bee's owns over 9,000 hives under its care and pollination services supporting 36,000 beehives across the country.

The Fuzzy Bum packaging consists of bold typography, playful graphic illustrations, and a colour palette inspired by Australian native flowers.

“Tiny Hunter went above and beyond to create an innovative, consumer-facing brand. They immersed themselves in our industry to understand consumer drivers and market challenges," Blignaut said.

"The result is a brand that shows off our unique proposition and champions what we stand for."
