Retailer Doors Plus has appointed Claire Whitehouse chief marketing officer and hired Co.gency as its lead media agency.
Whitehouse brings more than a decade of experience across retail, FMCG and consumer brands.
Co.gency, founded in 2015, is an independent media agency whose clients include Coco Republic, ASICS and Haribo.
Tim Renfrey, CEO of Doors Plus, said the appointments positioned the business for growth.
"Doors Plus has built a trusted national brand over more than 35 years, and we're evolving our marketing approach to engage customers in more relevant and effective ways," he said.
Whitehouse said the opportunity was to build on the company's strong foundations while modernising how it connected with customers.
"Doors Plus already has a recognised brand, a national showroom network and decades of customer trust. By bringing together brand, media, digital and customer experience, we can better serve our customers and support the company's continued growth," she said.
Jon Bonwick, managing director of Co.gency, said Doors Plus had an iconic Australian brand and a clear ambition for growth.
"We're excited to partner with the team to help more Australians discover the brand, while ensuring every media investment supports meaningful business outcomes," he said.
