George at MiQ.

Dog of the Month is presented by Fur Media. We look at our furry friends across the advertising, adtech, marketing and media sector, shedding a light on these stars and how they help adland get results. This time we speak to handsome five-year-old golden retriever George from MiQ Digital.

How would you describe what MiQ Digital does?

They make humans busy. And provide snacks. Mostly snacks.

What do you do day-to-day?

Pat patrols, snack hunts, tug-of-war supervision, strategic barking, and morale boosting - mostly via wagging and quiet desk visits.

Define your job in one word?

Handsome Ambassador (of joy...and treats). Okay that’s more than one, but I’m not good at writing.

I got into digital marketing because?

I heard they have biscuits. And biscuits need branding.

Where do you turn for inspiration?

The snack shelf. Belly rubs are also nice.

Who is your right-hand person/who guides you day-to-day?

My owner Jess Millo. She’s my treat whisperer and expertly guides me not to steal other peoples’ lunches whenever I visit the office.

Whose job have you set your sights on in the future?

Head of Snack Procurement or Lead Nap Strategist.

My favourite advert is?

Anything with dogs eating. Preferably in slow motion.

My best trick is?

I can catch my tail and walk across the room with it still in my mouth. FYI, I mostly just end up going in circles.

Tell us one thing people at work don’t know about you?

I have an impeccable ability to detect the opening of a cheese packet.
